I always want to, but then when I look at their newer cameras, they never turn out to be the 'digital OM' that they rumor them to be. Oly DSLRs are overly clunky, noisy and complicated (when compared to ther superb OM line of real SLRs.)

Man, the E-620, that one may finally get to my wallet as far as DSLR goes.
My now ancient E-300 is still ticking and clicking, and I was drooling all the way but managed to resist 420, 520, E-3, even E-30.... but the E-620's size, and the addition of in-body-IS and pivoting LCD with live-view, may be too much for me to hold-off anymore... :bang:
Imagine that camera with the pancake 25/2.8 Zuiko... heh!

A lot of us who have used OMs and E series cameras have been clamoring for something like this for a while. I'd wanted a smaller body than the 510 I have, a larger VF because even with a magnifier composing with it wasn't easy and manual focus with legacy lenses was hit and miss. I'd also wanted the improved AF, a quieter shutter and it to be weather sealed and barring the last one it looks (and sounds) like they delivered. Flippy LCDs are just a bonus but maybe it will make me use Live View more than I do with the 510. The E30 did a lot of this but disappointed by being just too big.
The new body is great news and I'll probably wait until Christmas and the prices to drop to get one but the key is still the lenses. No point in small bodies if you are going to mount chunky zooms on them. While the pancake prime is nice though and I do have a 25/1.4 for 4/3rds the system really does need more primes. The 50/2 macro is fine but slow to focus in my limited experience with it and I would like a slightly shorter faster portrait prime. Something like a 40/1.4 in 4/3rds mount would be brilliant and something around 35mm equivalent would be most welcome.

No, the E-620 is a 4/3rd system, not micro-4/3rd.
It is a full-blown SLR with a mirror and optical viewfinder.
