the guy tries to make such a big deal out of it... I mean, fine, I find an undeveloped neg, I'd probably develop it and try to post photos on some photography forums to see if I find the shooter, but his whole short film about him looking for a new adventure and then amazed at the quality of the photos (which have nothing special, imho, just some travel snaps)... total Vivian Maier wannabe, even if it's not the same scenario.

Woa... where do people on here got this negativity from? This dude found ONE single roll after a snowstorm with few pics on it and made a funny/cute story out of that. I can't see any relationship between this story and Meier's one. It's not really about the pictures but about life coincidences, naivete and optimism (Brooklyn hipster-style).
Had I found it myself, maybe I would post the pics online - trying to find the owners for the sake of it - and if I was any good at making videos, I might even go that way.

I believe the kids call them "haters" (or "haterz").

Ah looky looky
I think it's pretty cool this guy found the film and developed it. Something about it IS pretty annoying. What's up with the 1 bad shot of 40 frames? 24exp roll with half frames? or 36exp roll going to 40exp?
I like big butts and I cannot lie.

You can easily get 40 frames from a roll of "36" if you start shooting from the start of the roll, i.e., before "1" on the counter. Even starting @ 1, I routinely get 38 frames on Leica M bodies.

I think the point people are making is that it's uninteresting in general. the photos, the people in them, the story etc isn't really remarkable though the narrator seems to think so.

It's pretty hard to get b&w film processed that well at a NYC lab. Unless it's 400CN. It's a nice story and nice pictures, but feels more like a fun stunt by a savvy content creator than a genuine lost and found narrative.
It is kind of weird that he found a roll of film and there were decent photos... I bet most photos found on lost rolls of film suck horribly... I smell a scam.

Whatever the guy's intentions, he did great publicity for film and made film look cool and romantic.

I found a Canadian $20 on the ground today. It had Betty Windsor's photo on it, but she's not getting it back.
I really did find the $20 on a snowy sidewalk beside a parking meter. It is cold as h today so not many pedestrians.

Oh totally. Me too.
It's kind of funny though, he really put himself in an awkward position by visiting them in Paris. Sounds like it was kind of awkward all around.
