In the past week it seems to have deteriorated. I'm consistently getting pages unable to load - even the home page! This also happens when selecting an image to view. Four weeks of bad service - time for a refund!

Same for me in Australia. Also I noticed that the links to some photos I posted on Facebook from Flickr are broken (inexplicably).

Bad panda right now too ! Thanks for the tip about Toyokazu Nagano, BTW.
Glad I left 1,000 photos on my account and didn't purchase their darn PRO thing.

Yes, the web page hasn't been working all day, and the phone and iPad apps haven't been showing that there are notifications for weeks - you have to manually check.
To add insult to injury, today I get Flickr email setting out the new account restrictions, while the site is down. They seem to be really working hard at thoroughly pissing off even their most loyal users. Is this one of those cases where a company buys a competitor with the sole purpose of destroying it?

Maybe they did a software update and they cannot rollback because they don't have a backup

...sort of working for me now.
No doubt the problems are due to the extreme amount of traffic trying to view the picture I uploaded yesterday....

Outages of several hours to a couple of days have become common. What other big website does this? Are they running it out of their garage? They look like rank amateurs, and they have the cheek to charge for "Pro" accounts.
