Anyone Ordered A New Summarit?

Hello All
I just wanted to see if anybody has ordered a new Summarit lens (more toys to buy!). My work won't get them till early December, as long as Leica are up to date with production. I just wanted guage the interest out there. I was thinking about the 75mm or 90mm myself.

I'm right on the fence about the 75. Latest images I've seen show it to be the best of the batch.

i am with bob on the 75 looking the best. but i'd get a zm 18 before i would buy the new 75.

I thought about the 50 for a while, then I realized I could get a mint current cron for a bunch cheaper.

For the 35mm, you can get the Hex or the current Cron 35 or the Zeiss. For the 50mm, Hexanon or current Cron or the Zeiss. From the current LFI magazine, only the 75 seems to be performing. But if pitted against the 75AA, it might be a different story.

My Summarit 2,5/75mm should arrive within two weeks or so. Solms seems to be perfect on time schedule but building lenses is in fact not a real new thing for them 🙂

I'm on the list at my local dealer for the 75mm. I think my walking around kit for the M7 will then be the 35mm cron and the 75mm Summarit.

I am considering the 35...Its data look promising and it is quite a bit smaller than the Biogon and lighter than the 35 asph

In the next future, i think to buy the Summarit 35 and 90. For the instance, i'm waiting for the Erwin Puts test of the new Summarit lenses.
