Anyone out there dressing up for Halloween?

Darn tootin' I'm dressing up. Reporter Clark Kent here, daily planet.
good excuse to pack a camera...

Trust me, I feel ridiculous in it, but its going to be really fun. Party tonight. My friend's band is playing. Good times for sure.

The other plan was to just throw something together using stuff I had at home. I was thinking of a zombie (just tear up an old suit I got at a thrift shop a couple years ago and add some fake blood and makeup) or a tourist (lame t-shirt, tucked into shorts, camera around my neck, socks with sandals, fanny pack, etc). I saw this at the mall and I couldn't resist.

I also dressed up as a reporter, 1950s style. Fedora with a "press" card, a press pass on my shirt pocket, tie, cigarette, black reporter's notebook and my Rolliecord and light meter. I wish I had a huge bulb flash to go with it. I also had those armband things on my arms...what are those things for anyway? I knew aesthetically they should be there, but don't truly understand the purpose. I went to our supermarket to pick up beer before the party and was so emboldened I took this lovely expose shots of the ridiculous Christmas display they've had up since...September 20th. Nobody bothered me. I'll have to dress up like this more often.

Doug,
those are to keep your sleeves out of the press and/or from dragging through your hurried fountain pen written notes.

I may look smart, in that sense dressing up - it's my sister's birthday on the 31st!!

Great costume tho!! The friend who's buying my zorki and fed is dressing up as a mummy, how boring!

Long-haired jive-talking Communists like you are destroying the traditional family!

Kinder, Kirche, Kuche I say!

I'm sure being a Mummy is very nice!:)

Cheers, Ian

I told her to only wear a bandage around certain areas.... of course she said it was too revealing, spoilsport or what!!

Oh Ash! Get her an accurate costume! And don't forget the cookies!

(I enclose a picture of how life really is!)

Ian!

HAH!!

I'm spending a small sum on a suitably sized fridge-freezer for my room now, I think it's crazy I have to make room for food in the fridge ;)
