Anyone seen one of these before? I hadn't until last Saturday......

This is a viewfinder mask for a Contax IIa or IIIa. Fits over the VF/RF so that for 8,5cm or 13.5cm lenses you can use the combined vf/rf. Neat, actually. Works well.

This is one of the things I found at the Camera Market......

It's pretty neat, it's got two masks for the different lenses, and a seperate distance adjuster for parrallax correction.

A lot neater and easier than a seperate viewfinder, plus you still get the combined rf/vf.

Dunno when it's from, early '50s would be my guess
 
Also found an ERC.

Yeh, I know, I was going to sell the IIa. But there's just something about it. I guess I better get the RF adjusted now and get out and use the thing..........

Yeah, a month ago approx., i posted the same thing here in another thread - it was offered on e-bay, for $10 or such.

It got voted down, more or less:) but it looks funky.

Darn, i need a case for my contax!
