Anyone seen the new Ektar 100 in stores yet?

It's October! Anyone seen the Ektar 100 in stores yet? It's supposed to be in stores in the US & Canada this month. I know it's only the 2nd day of Oct. but I'm impatient about these things. Hope it shows up before the peak Autum season around here.

Looks good! I went to the Kodak site earlier & viewed some sample photos from their flash player & your right Looks so much like slide. I think this is going to be an awesome film.

Posts in other threads have stated that the release date will be late October, or perhaps even early November. Too late for fall colors, in these parts.

JRG, in CA we actually do get some Fall colors, of course, all the trees are genetically altered to change color here. But maybe I will be able to get some before the leaves fall.

Our peak season in the mountains is about 2 weeks. Here in late Oct. early Nov.
I hope they come out with 120 also. I have read many who want this. They have 120 in the Portra line. It would be foolish on Kodak's part not to put Ektar 100 out in 120.

Adorama put out a news bulliten in Sept. but there is nada on thier website either.

TOOOO, bad about Adorama, but TMY-2 was way behind the scheduled release.

Adorama now has it listed, at $4.49 a box. Marked not yet released. I had all but given up color film for digital, but all of a sudden I am really excited...those flickr shots look great.

Let's hope they do 24 exposure and 120. I don't do 4x5 but we can also hope for that.

I sent an email to a store here in Vancouver...and the response was "We don't sell Kodak slide film." I had even included a link to the Kodak CA website.

I then suggested to them that it was a C41 film...and asked if they even looked at the link. Their response was that they "did not carry that film" and suggested that I contact a competing lab.

I've also heard that the Canadian distributor for Kodak has pulled out.

Anyone else report on the rest of Canada?
