Anyone settled on one camera one lens?

Anyone settled on one camera one lens?

YES.

What have you settled on?

M4-P, Summilux 50mm Pre-ASPH E46

How long for?

For today 😀

Are you happy with your choice or would you change?

Happy for today, but I know I will change.

I don't make any longer term commitments because I know I won't honor it.

I have always considered such things to be ridiculous affectations of the easily-led. People who are eternally in search of some magical device or behavior that will somehow make their photography better, constantly following the current Zeitgeist with fawning admiration.

I have never understood such things. Why is doing whatever you like such a bad thing? Why must we fall in line with the current popular trend?

I have many cameras, many lenses, and I don't know if it makes my photography better, worse, or has no effect at all on it. Come arrest me, fashion police.

I've only had a summicron-c the past 3 years with an RD-1, and R3A.
Simply because it is all I can afford but I make do.

If I could buy a bunch of lenses and bodies I would.

I have been using Leica M7 and a 28 elmarit for about 3 years now, sold everything else I had, do not regret it at all..

I'm trying my best to just use M9P with Biogon-C 35mm. It's in my backpack every day since early January when I decided to do a year of Leica digital. I have used a Planar 50 and V3 Summicron 50 a few times but so far I'm happy with the M9P 35 combo.

Only one camera and one lens in my hand at one time! (To minimize the risk of dropping something.)

Yes!!! This is my one camera, lens strategy as well.

I really like one camera, one lens concept.
I kept M4-2 with single Summarit for two long weeks! Now, after getting 28mm lens, the M4-P is a must! 🙂
