Anyone stays in Atlanta?

Dear All,

I will be going to Atlanta next January for clinical attachment with Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital. I am wondering if there are any good camera shops in Atlanta? 😀

I have heard good things about KEH there, *but never used it myself*.

I have heard at least 5 direct buys from people that went well there - I hear they rate a little more conservatively than places like adorama and B&H and you can depend more on the quality of gear.

You may want to check, but I do not think that KEH has a retail location. They do everything through the mail. I would call though. If you see something that you like and would like to see prior to purchasing, I can't see that they would not let you go and look.

I was only in Atlanta once. I found it very nice. There is a lot to do and see there. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Wings Camera (clairmont & I85) is good lots of used items.
Camera Bug near Emory university has some used, mostly
new items. Camera county Roswell rd near 285 has new
and used items also..

I purchased a Hasselblad outfit from them a few weeks ago.

I was very happy with it. Their ratings are pretty conservative. i.e. stuff is better than you might otherwise expect if you have experience purchasing on on-line auctions.

I don't think they have a walk-in store, although they do advertise a street address on their webpage.
