I'm fairly good with taking things apart, And have a good set of Gunsmith Tools. I took apart my Isolette II and cleaned it out no problem.

However my Vito CLR has now started to get a lazy Shutter and I would like to at least be able to clean the blades etc.

Any tips or tricks on this?

Thanks

It's relatively straightforward, I've included all the images I shot during the procedure in this thread: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50473
The images are ordered from disassembled to assembled. Follow them bottom to top for disassembly.

It's been quite a while ago that I took a CLR apart, and I can't really remember whether it's essential to mark the amount the front cell of the lens needs to be screwed in to restore proper focus afterward without extensive tuning. Wouldn't hurt to indicate it with a felt tipped marker before unscrewing it.

Final note: this is how far I took it apart before I dipped the shutter in solvent. That basically worked fine, though the plastic tabs on the outside did suffer a bit cosmetically..

Oh, and success with getting the CLR up and running of course!
