Thinking of getting a negative scanner, and this owne is in price range about 250euros. does anyone have any experience with it?

Sorry, no experience with the ProScan 3600, but I can highly recommend this link:

http://www.filmscanner.info/ReflectaProScan3600.html.

I think the reviews are very helpful - if you can at least read german. I bought a Reflecta Crystal Scan 7200 at their online shop - http://www.scandig.de/ - in February this year. Their service is very good, and the quality of the scans is as discribed. I would say the recommandation to buy Reflecta scanners at least with Silverfast SE saved a lot frustration as cyberview - results a really worse compared to Silverfast SE.

P.S. I have no financal ot other interest in scandig or Patrick Wagner. I´m just satisfied with their service and prices.

An example? Yes, I will try to show you two examples - with cyberview and silverfast - tomorrow when I´m back home. But: do you think examples in the web will do?

If you send me a pm I can send you the examples via Deutsche Post ... although my scans are far from perfect.

I bought a plustek opticfilm 7200 for 180 Euros two weeks ago and I am happy.
I have to say that I dont have any comparisons and only scan b/w 400 film and I dont care to much about sharpness.
Here is a sample and a crop. film is Tri-x in DDX. Scanned at 7200dpi.

Regards Fabian

Here are 2 examples, both done with Silverfast SE. "Terracotta" was scanned from a slide, "Fleetinsel" was scanned from a colour negative - both Film a Fuji 100.
