Anyone use a small lightmeter on a Zorki ?

Hello !
I wonder if anyone use a modern micro lightmeter on a Zorki 1 or 3 ? Something like the Gossen Digiflash or Digisix or the small Sekonic L-208 lightmeter.
I plan to buy/use one but I've to go blind as it will be bought on the Internet, so I want some advice before commiting !

Hello Georges,
I have a Gossen Digisix which I use with my Zorki 1 and my beloved Horizon 202. It's small, accurate, easy to handle, weights nothing (40g) and the batteries last for years. But actually I try to guess the right exposure-times. That just feels right when having a 50 year old camera in your hands 🙂 Nevertheless the Digisix is a nice lightmeter, had good results with the Horizon.

I use both my refurbished Metrophot [new selenium] and my new Sekonic L208. The latter is a little jewel--both incident and reflected measurements. The Metrophot looks better as I did not get a "foot" for the Sekonic. Any number of good meters are available used. Watch to see if they require mercury batteries; however, that can be overcome by contacting several here.

Hi George,

I chose the Sekonic L-208 to use with my meterless RF cameras, and so far, I've been happy with it. I use it as a handheld meter rather than attaching it to the camera. I only take occasional meter readings, so attaching it is unnecessary.

I use a Gossen Pilot2 but I seldom mouht it in the cold shoe. I usualy have a VF there so I wear the meter around my neck or in a shirt pocket. Not the best meter for really low light but good otherwise and it is battery free.

A fodor Baby IIa is another small one, never used it. It's scale is quite difficult to understand. But it fits perfectly.
