I have had good experience with Leica and other M lenses, a disaster with a heap crappy adapter I bought from ebay for Canon EOS - 4/3rds adapter that just doesn't work, but I do like some of my old Contax/Nikon S RF lenses, and so just ordered a not cheap adapter for these. Anyone tried this combo? Any photos?
Thanks

Check out flickr for photos. There is a GF1/manual focus group, along with many other pics you can find just by doing searches for the lens+the camera that you use.

Short answer, yes, people are doing it with success. Downsides are that you can't use some of the wider lenses and that some of the adapters with the Contax lenses have a reputation of being difficult to remove from the lens once attached. If you ordered one of the later models, I believe this problem is being improved upon. See following video:

What about the Voigtlander 50/1.5 Nokton Aspherical Lens in Nikon Rangefinder Mt? Saw one for sale and I really wanna move on it before my GF1 gets here.

I have used a Contax mount Zeiss Opton 50/1.5 Sonnar on my G1 for about a year, it's fantastic. My favorite adapted lens...

The focusing helical difference between Nikon RF and Contax RF doesn't matter since the focusing is done at the sensor via live view...so yes, you can use both types of lenses with the same adapter.

Thanks for the comment. :)
