I saw this on Kottke and was wondering if anyone used this scanning service? Apparently you send them your negatives/slides and they ship it to India where they scan them at 3000 dpi. They work with slides/color & bw in a few formats (35mm, 220, 120, 126, 127 and even 110). You can pick & choose which ones to keep and then they send you a disk along with your negatives and you do not have to pay for the ones you don't want to keep. Prices seem reasonable but the 7-8 week wait would be killer for me. They are a local (Bay Area) company/website.
I would use this service if I had hundreds of negs that need digitizing as it is time consuming.
