As the real summer finally has come here to Stockholm, the sun is really hard up there. The high contrast is not much to do about, other than using a lower contrast film. When I look at daylight photo prints, they also suffer a bit in tone from the high sun, especialy skin. Has anyone used the 81c filter on color negative film to warm a bit? What's the result, would you recommend it?

Anders,

I've used it with SLR lenses, and I think they are useful for the situations you had pointed out. I find that it also gives me an extra hour or so at the beginning and end of the day where otherwise harsh light is more "golden." Give it a try.

Thanks Ray,

Then I will get one. I have been trying to call a Leica dealer here for an hour to see if he has it in stock, but the phone is buzy! Leica buziness is hot right now, I guess!

Argh,

Just called two dealers here, non of them have sold, or have had in stock, 39mm 81c filters for as long they can remember. They are being produced in 39mm size, aren't they?
