Anyone using CV lenses on your Zeiss Ikon camera?

I'm curious if anyone is using Cosina Voigtlander lenses on your Zeiss Ikon camera and what problems, if any, you've encountered. I can't currently afford both the ZI camera and the lenses, have some CV lenses (which DON'T correspond to the preset framelines of the ZI!) and want to use them with it until I can afford to start satisfying my ZM GAS attack!

the 25/50/75 should be ok. i use the 25 w/o an external finder.
the 15 with a finder should work.

I'm using a Rollei 40mm Sonnar with the Zeiss Ikon. I had to switch the LTM=>M adapter so I could get the 35mm framelines rather than the 50mm lines.

Otherwise, it's a great lens, and I've not had any problems with it.

The 75 should be fine with the 85mm lines. Just come in a bit when you frame. That's what I do with the 40. I just give it a bit of extra room.

There is a 25mm Biogon, but I doubt there is an LTM=M adapter that will give you 25mm lines. Maybe there is one that will give you 21mm lines.

The 15 will just require any adapter, because it's not rangefinder coupled. Plus you need the external viewfinder.

There shouldn't be any problems with using CV lenses on the ZI.

IMO, I'd get an RXa/RXm and then get ZM lenses, rather than a ZI with CV lenses. Just my opinion, but the lenses matter more than the body (for the most part, the longer RF base length and better meter sensitivity might be critical selling points for you).

Actually, I'm looking at the R3M I have on order to be the backup to the ZI! Eventually, I'll buy the ZM lenses to "fill in" what I don't have in CV lenses and/or replace some. For a first ZM, would you guys recommend the 28, 35 or 50? (Need this first one to be kinda versatile and a good "walkabout" lens)

the 50 is the cheapest.
the 35 probably the most versatile, depending on your shooting style and the 25 is the sharpest.
if you want framelines then the 28.

Looking at Mike Elek's shots, I like the tonality of the 50/2 Planar, so that is what I've ordered! Should get the camera by Saturday and the lens early next week. I'll try some shots with the lenses I have when the camera gets here and post. It'll be interesting to compare shots between the ZM 50/2 Planar and the new CV Heliar 50/2 when it gets here! Anyone interested to see the comparisons if I do it?
