Moses

...so much for major religions. But I've never known anyone named Buddha.

I think you can find people in Los Angeles named Xenu. (Does Scientology count as a major religion yet? Or is it a major corporation?)

Of course, half the people in Utah are named either Young or Jessop. But that's another story.

Before he passed away, I had an uncle named Adolph. When he was born in Switzerland in the 1920s, there was no shame in the name. After moving to the USA, he fought against the Nazis.

And for the record, I have a former co-worker named Mohammed, although he uses his middle name after 9-11.

And I know a few guys named Jesus, pronounced Hey-Zeus. And no, they don't mow my lawn or clean my pool...
