I was reading up on this super-low-ISO film today and would like to try it. Only place I could find it online is Japan Exposures, in a brick of 10. Anybody know if it's available in single rolls from anywhere?

Dirk has 3-packs available right here. Worth it, for sure - super-fun & totally oddball film!

Thanks! I've dev'ed it in R09 @ 1:40, for several different times, and Diafine (shot at 12, and 25). Neither were something that i would feel compelled to use again with this film, but it's also on me to not shoot in lighting conditions that the film can't handle. In certain situations, this stuff will go totally nutso, as evidenced by the above shot! I've got a roll ready to soup in SuperProdol next, so we'll see... Also might give good ol' D-76 1:1 a shot, too.

I'll check to see how many rolls i have left, and if i can spare it, i'll mail you a roll to try out. More examples with dev. details here. I'm assuming you've checked out Tom's Minicopy shots on Flickr, as well?

Completely forgot that i had the link to this page, which has a dizzying array of HRII examples.. I think i may have a few more resources on the Minicopy, which i'll post if i can unearth them. I've been meaning to reach out to someone familiar with the analog ways of document copying to get their take on development, but have yet to do so.

I do know that US arm of Fuji has this stuff available in 1000 foot rolls, but if that's not enough of a commitment, the minimum order is 10 rolls! Care to split a few miles of the stuff? 😱

So far I have only shot a couple of rolls of Minicopy II. We were in Europe - and northern Europe to boot for three weeks and I knew that there would be few chances to use a super slow film while there.
I did a quick test - shooting it @6/12/25 iso and developing it in Rodinal 1:200, stand development for 120 min. Pretty close to Dirk's (Japanexposure) recommendation. Seems to handle about 20 iso in well lit, but not too contrasty situations. Similar contrasty look to it as TechPan had.
The Rodinal might not give the finest grain - but you really have to stick it under a microscope to see it even then.
I want to do some more tests with it this summer and also try a couple of different soups, Delagi's D8 and Windisch as both of these work with TechPan.
Could be a fun film with something like the Nokton 50f1.1 - at least gives you a faint chance to handhold it too.
I like the idea of 1000ft of it - that would take a while to go through - though in reality it is only 180 rolls and if the summer proves to be a "long, hot one" it is feasible.
Using it proved two things, the 21f1.4 Summilux is stunningly sharp - and the Nokton 35f1.4 SC is about as sharp as you would ever need!!!!

Thanks guys, I'm going to buy 3 rolls from Dirk! Rodinal stand sounds about my speed, I am going to give it a shot. And I have no problem with grain.

Will report...
