I wonder why many of the prints are obviously of a 35mm ratio and not square? What's even stranger is that they list the print sizes on these as 6x6. Example below

The print is 6x6, while the image simply fits within that 6x6.

yes. They've decided 6x6 has no meaning, apparently.

Prints are made on 6x6" (about 15x15cm) paper, while the actual dimensions of the printed image are obviously smaller and its aspect ratio varies according to the original negative.
