John, it's certainly a great feeling when someone recognizes your work and validates its value.
Sure, your friends and family always say how "wonderful your pictures are", but when the Aperture Gallery speaks, people listen.
I hope your photos look as good on display as they do in your Blurb Books.

Saw John and some other RFF members at the show this evening. John's photos were some of the best IMHO.

Thanks for looking (and for the compliment). It's been awhile, you should have said hello. It was crowded and hot in that place.
 
I looked for you but could not find you in the crowd. It's a great accomplishment to be included in the Aperture exhibit. Just don't forget the little people who knew you when.

Yeah, it was hard to find people. It felt good to be included, but I'm not sure it'll lead to anything else. I'll just keep on doing what I love to do and see what happens. If nothing, it's ok. Hope all is well with your work.

Update: Aperture let us bring our photo books for display too... so there will be more work by those in the show very soon.
