It looks like this has been announced but I can’t find the Leica announcement.
10 elements in five groups, four aspherical surfaces, a floating group for close focusing correction (it focuses to 30cm), plus six elements of partial anomalous dispersion glass. Leica claims that it is a true apochromat and diffraction limited. $8195 at B+H.

The 30cm close focus is perhaps an admission that ‘M’ lenses are increasingly not used on M cameras. I use an M camera and the rangefinder a lot of the time and find lenses that focus closer than 70cm incredibly frustrating. I’m not really in the market but this alone would stop me from even contemplating getting one.
