Apple Market (100% jpeg)

f/8, my usual stop, and nope to the tripod. Haven't used a tripod since I picked up the Monochrom and what a relief it is too!

Michael

Every once in awhile I come across people "at peace" with their tools - you seem like one :)

I forgot the great ISO performance of the Mono allows the luxury of stopping down and still using fast shutter speeds - which you are exploiting well

Fully agree on the tripod - I've never used a tripod and just can't bring myself to to be a beast of burden :0))))

*applause*

I thought this was a really nice, high-resolution photo... then I looked at the full size and it completely floored me. The text "Blanc Bar Brasserie"... wow!

(If you can't see it, go to the full size and look on the glass gallery waaaaaay at the back of the scene. Dead-stick sharp!).

And yes, what others said, darn nice photo no matter how sharp/highly resolved it is. :)

very nice. That's how all images should be sized. I thought it was the SF Ferry Building until clicking on it ;)

What was the aperture? shutter speed? Where were you focused?

Nice shot

First one that makes me hungry for one of these cameras

But what we really want to know is: did you buy that canvas depicting Olivia Newton John and John Travolta in a scene from Grease?

Seriously, this is lovely. The camera, the lens, and the photographer all in sync.

Thanks guys!

Not sure why, even at f8, I get such astonishing depth. It's my first M, so I thought that was normal lol.

Michael
ps, i did not buy the tasteless prints!
