I really enjoy my RRS/Kirk L-plates on my other gear. Has anyone tried one of these on the R-D1? The M-CL from RRS (http://reallyrightstuff.com/rrs/items.asp?Cc=BodyMCL&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc=) is shown on an M8 on their site. Sure would be helpful if manufacturers were to create cameras with this mounting profile included - fat chance of that, I know, but one can dream...
Thanks!

Clearsight USA might make one. I've read that Joe Codispoti has made plates for the TA Rapidwinder so send him an email: joecodi AT clearsightusa DOT com and ask.

I have used a RRS plate on my R-D1s. Just the bottom plate, they don't have an L-plate. It works fine. Call them and ask which one to get.
