This documnet ( in pdf form ) explains how to process B/W film and prints to archival standards.
At 14 pages long it is easy to read and print out. It is essentially designed for the home darkroom enthusiast.
Free of excessive jargon you only require the basic understanding of B/W film/print processing.
I have been processing B/W for over 35 years, 20 of those spent in small custom labs specialising in archival processing of B/W material.
The document also outlines the care and storage of the processed negative and print.
Please PM me with an e-mail address and I will forward the pdf to you.
I offer this free to RFFers about every five months.
Please allow 48 hours from the time of your request for your pdf to be sent.
Regards
Peter

sorry, I don't know what "PM me with an e-mail" means but in any case I send you my address: alch@bluewin.ch.
I would like to read your pdf.
Thanks.

Allbee, PM stands for "Private Message" through this forum. It's an easier way to contact a member directly, but not via the member's e-mail.
BTW, I'm sending Peter a PM myself. Thanks!

Why PM with e-mail address? I can't believe there is no way to put it here on server that any registered member can download this pdf. I just don't want to think you're collecting valid e-mail addresses for some commercial purpose.

The thought crossed my mind... but I chose to believe it's a bona fide offer.

I have no reservations about giving archivist my email. Some poeple are a little too paranoid.

This is the truth!
Peter has made this offer before (perhaps on a different forum, I can't recall) and I sent him my email address with absolutely no problems. The material Peter is offering is very good and we should all be very appreciative of his generousity!

Please! Have no concerns...............
To those who have concerns about your 'privacy' - don't!
I delete all PMs and e-maill addresses after I have sent the pdf.
The one exception to this is when a PM is sent requesting the pdf and does not contain a return e-maill address. In this case I will reply a couple of times until an address is sent - if I do not get one I give up and delete the original PM.
After a nasty experience with a previous list, of which I will not give details, where I had placed information on their server for all to use I prefer to deal one-on-one with people.
This is the fourth time I have offered this document and I will continue to do so at regular intervals - I am happy to share information I have gathered over 35 years processing and printing black & white.
If you are still uncomfortable about giving an e-mail address I fully understand but with me you will never have an issue - unless you dispute the fact that the Yashica Electro 35 G, GS and GSN were the best 35mm rangefinder cameras ever made!

I'll vouch for Peter as well- his previous version of the pdf was absolutely tops, and I've been handing it out in my classes with his permission. I've just pm'ed for the new version.
