This is perhaps a question as old as digital photography itself and as discussed as Miss Spears' drunken escapades etc, but I'll ask it anyway.
How does everyone archive and keep record of their digital images? At present I plan on making two DVD copies of each few days worth of shooting, storing each DVD in a seperate location in an acid free sleeve photo album along with 5x7" index prints made in photoshop's bridge, perhaps 20 images per 5x7".
It's just that I'm having nightmares thinking about the logistics of digital imaging compared to solid folders on trannies that I'm able to flick through.
Also, I've read a little bit about using metadata in programmes like Bridge or Lightroom and how useful it can be. What's the word on the street regarding metadata?
