Are all non-folding Retinas the same inside: If IIf IIS IIIS, etc

I have a solid-body Retina w/ no accessories that seems to work. I am wondering if any of the internal parts can be used in a high-value Retina, such as the IIIs.

High value to me, anyway, as I happen to have a nice set of Deckel mount lenses.

Some of the parts are interchangeable, some are not.

The Retina IIIS shares more parts with the Retina Reflex-S, has a body built on the same chassis. The exposure meter and mechanism is the same as the Reflex-S, door latch, and other parts- I have transplanted them before.

Things like the cocking rack- not sure, there were several versions of it.

Heh, thanks Brain, it seemed like a good idea at the time...

I still have to grind down the lenses for the Bessamatic that I bought them for. The Bessamatic and the Retina Reflexes are actually similar cameras, along w/ the Kowa 35mm SLR... But why would anybody want a leaf shutter in an SLR? The Bessamatic has very low vibration, which may be a benefit, though the mechanism has to be many times more complicated.

I just picked up a Retina IIIS with 50/2.8 Xenar, all-working, for $125 with shipping. They are running 1/2 what they used to a few years ago. The meter is accurate, and the incident attachment was on it. cleaning the finder is a 20 mnute job, top plate comes off after removing the rewind knob and 3 screws. Just be careful to mark the eyepiece when removing so you can put it back the same way- I use a sharpie to put a dot on the outside. On the semi-silver beamsplitter- just use a blower on it.
