Greetings
I have one question that has been on my mind ever since i asked which camera to choose as my future Leica .
Reading about the M7 the DX system will introduce fogging, seeing the M6 does not have the DX system i guess it will not introduce fogging, but is it IR proof or will it leak IR light from somewhere ?
What is your experience/opinion ?

I have an M6 TTL, and I've shot kodak HIE, konica IR, and SFX 200 (granted, not as IR sensitive) in it with no problems at all. (also in my M3)
My only problem now is getting HIE!

My M5s need red dots!
I don't think the DX itself would fog IR film. That would happen with a Nikon SLR, in which there's a guiding IR system inside the body to keep the film straight. The DX is just a reader, and it interprets the bars in the film canister and sets the ISO accordingly. I really don't think it may damage or do anything to IR film.

I've shot HIE in an M7 with the upgraded DX reader and had no problems.
