I just got back my first roll of photographs that were shot with my 25 f/4 Skopar and the lens seems to be wider than I remember a lens like that being.
In all of my SLR outfits I had a 24mm lens.

So I am wondering if RF lenes are wider than a comparable SLR lens.

Thanks!

But probably sharper. :D

I definately see that!
I just got back a roll that was mostly shot with my 25 f/4 Skopar and I can see that by just looking at the negatives.

On related note, do RF lenes have more depth of field than SLR lenes?

Perhaps the fact that RF wides (as a general rule) have significantly less geometric distortion than SLR wides is confusing/delighting you... or maybe not.

What malarkey!!

Any lens, RF or SLR, or for that matter, view camera, is rated by the degrees of view it provides. That is usually in comparison to the diagonal measure of the image.

Generally, RF lenses are SMALLER than SLR ones. but that is not directly related to the field of view.
