Are the lens hood interchangeable?

I have both the c-sonnar 1.5/50 and Biogon 2.8/25 and I have both the designated hoods meant for them but I'm thinking, do you think I can use the 25mm hood for the sonnar? And vice versa?

I think the Biogon 2.8/25 might be a bit picky but the sonnar should be happy with either one.

What do you think?

Btw these are new lenses for me, they just arrived and at the moment i don't have a body to test my theory :bang:

Put the hood on

Hold the lens at an angle

See if you can see the hood at about a 22 degree off-axis angle (50mm) or 45 degree off-axis (25mm)
