Trius , I do not know why you feel you need to do a personal attack. I stand by what I said. The OP did not say he was using the zone system, he did not say that he was reducing exposure and increasing development to open up middle gray in his photos, he said he was increasing developement by 4 min. to give better contast. I say that there are better ways to do that then increasing development time.Over development actually reduces contast after a certain point.
