If were selling something on ebay and its not getting alot of attention and we think RFF members might be interested are we allowed to link? I wasnt sure if this:
Members will not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion). Additionally Self-Promotion links will no longer be allowed in your signature. This is intended for commercial establishments that try to advertise on RFF without going through the proper process. Promoting a website or product that you are in some way involved with, without divulging that involvement, is sufficient reason to be banned. This does not apply to sponsors, who have paid for advertising in order to promote themselves on RFF.
applied to what I am talking about - or if it strictly meant people who have a commercial establishment.

No- links to your own Ebay auctions is considered self-promotion. Auction style ads are allowed in the classifieds here, as are fixed-priced. The ads are $5 for items total $100 or more, $2 for items totaling under $100. Want to Buy and Want to trade ads are free.
