Canon. Started with an AE-1 that got sold in moment of foolishness. Still have my FTb-N & T-90 right now.

And since this thread started well over a year ago (!) ;) I've added an AE-1 & an EOS A2E. I expect I'll buy a 5D when it is to the current Canon as a PS1 is to a PS3 today  though knowing myself there will probably be at least an EOS-3 in there first...

Just another Canonista :D

Um, yes?

I use both Canon and Nikon. Cut my photographic teeth with an AE-1, picked up not one but two F2's, and have recently acquired a 1v... the first step towards a new DSLR.

I've also got my eye out for a user exakta, and somewhere there's an old contaflex in a box in my basement... What can I say, I like cameras!
(My RF collection is even larger)

Long ago I bought a new Nikon FG for my parents and put a roll of film through it to "make sure it works", of course! Worked fine; never used a Nikon SLR before or since. Never have used a Canon SLR; just a borrowed VT Deluxe once... Pentaxes? Oh yes! :)

Miranda

Miranda

I've always used a Miranda EE-it's proven reliable since the early 1970's and I've been able to pick up lots of lenses and accessories on eBay at favourables prices.

My SLR sojourn, in order from about 1983 to present:

Minolta SRT 100
Minolta X-700
Canon AE-1
Nikon FE
Nikon N8008s
Nikon F
Nikon F-100
Pentax 645

I liked 'em all and still use many of them to this day.

So now Nikon and Pentax are tied for the lead with three each (F, Nikomat FTn, FM3A : K100D, MX, SPII), closely followed by Pentacon with two (Contax F, Pentacon FB), with Olympus and Zeiss Ikon bringing up the rear (OM2n, Contaflex Super); and I certainly wouldn't say no to a Canon F1 or one of the big Arax offerings.

Is there a poll option for SLR slut?

Many Leica M people like Olympus SLR's.

Fascinating..
I started with Olympus OM2n and over the course of the next ten years owned a 1n 4Ti and the formidable and extremely hard to find OM 3Ti which I bought along with a 21 f2, 24 f2 and 35 f2, plus a mint Canon F1nAE with 24 50 and 85 L FD lenses, I got the whole lot for $1500 australian from a weird little shop in Haymarket, the guy didnt know what he had. After I returned to Ireland, I acquired a 40 f2 and an expensive 90mm for the OM, and had them for a fraction of time before I incidentally met someone outside the cinema who offered me so much money for all the OM gear that I literally said yes right there and then....
Some time later I Purchased a K1000 and a 50 for it with the intention of selling it for a higher price but fell in love with it and unintentionally *donated* it to a five minute girlfriend... After that I had a few FM's FM2's and an FE2 which were work cameras also the Canon F1n was my BW machine, I traded the FM2 and FE2 for an F3 and drive, and traded that up for a titan version which I sold to flip and buy my Eos 600 which I still have, and eventually bought an Eos 1 which we all smeared at the time "Autofocus HAHAHA what a load of rubbish, its a fad".
I sold the Eos 1 and bought four Eos 5 (A2) which was the perfect conflict camera which would generally lose its flash and the command dial would jam up after the first week, but with the help of gaffers tape, could if pushed withstand heavy shelling artillery and extremely adverse weather conditions, I even saw one of those things bounce!!!!!! I had dropped one in a puddle and picked it out of the water, brought it inside washed it under the tap, and left it under the hand dryer in the hotel bathroom for 45 minutes and it coughed a few times and carried on regardless.................. Now THAT is a tough little machine. I had in total about 9 of them over the years. They were light and had a lot of shell for the amount of IC in comparison to nowadays. I had two Eos 1n RS's also which were awesome machines, just devine for working with as they had pellicle mirrors so you never lost sight of the action and could see how badly your flash was working... After this I started using the newspapers first series of digital SLRs these HORRIBLE HUGE pre-MEGApixel (kilo pixel??) mothers, the images were predominantly blue and red and were only good for ultra tight deadline jobs and night time jobs. Ive been through all of the Eos mount DSLRs until I actually ponied up and bought my own 1DmkII the minute they came out and I still have it. The rate these things lose value I probably shoulnt have bought it. I still have my Eos 600 and I still have my F1nAE and 3 years ago I bought a Bessa R3a and 28 45 and a 15mm and I used it heavily until I just killed it with five hundred rolls of film, last year a Leica M6TTL came my way and after that a lovely 35f2ASPH which I cant find any complaints with whatsoever. Ive put a lot of film through this rig and it still steams on without a bother.... I love it, I love RF photography and actually finf it hard to focus properly with an SLR now...

Nikon and Pentax run neck 'n neck with me, followed by Canon in the backfield. All are old but useable film SLR's. Nikons are: F4 with drive; two F3's with drives; one FE with drive; one EM with drive; one FG with drive and a host of lenses. Pentaxes: an ME, a MG both with drives; a nakes MX; and an assortment of screwmount bodies and lenses. All fun to use, but not all at the same time, of course!

Apart from the RFs, which we all love, I guess many use or have used SLRs. I have shot Canons since my first EF back in the early seventies and still shoot Canon today (20D).

I have Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Yashica SLRs.

Canon manual focus!
Bodies: AE-1P, A-1, F-1N

Lenses: 24mm f/1.4L, 28mm f/2, 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.2L, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.2L, 85mm f/1.8, 135mm f/2.8, 135mm f/2, 200mm f/2.8, 70-210mm f/4, 35-105mm f/3.5

I checked Nikon but in addition to my Nikon F's, F2, and D200 I have a Canon A-1 and a couple of Minoltas as well as a Pentax Spotmatic..

My father-in-law gave me a Nikon F2 Photomic several years ago when he bought a little digital point & shoot. It was/is in mint condition due to the fact he used it very little since purchasing it new some thirty years ago. I have a Nikkor non-ai 55/1.2 which has to be my favorite SLR lens. I also have a 24/2.8 & 200/4, both non-ai Nikkors. I recently picked up a 45º Nikon P focusing screen that I have been neglecting to drop in.
My wife and I have several D200s and she bought a D300 earlier this year. I would like to swap out the D200s with D300s this year. The programmable image sensor cleaner, CMOS chip and high ISO without noise make it such a better camera.

My first real camera would probably be the Canon A#-1. Still have it and love to 'fondle' it every now and then. They sure don't build cameras like they use to.

Cheers,
