I am now using both systems.
The Canon FD system has great optics and cameras, and I enjoy using two T90's and two F1N's with a long list of FD lenses, such as 50mm/1.2L, 85mm/1.2L, 80-200/4L (awesome lens0, 500mm/4.5L (incredible lens), ... etc.
The Nikon F system is also great. I use the FE2 a lot, and with the Nikkor 105mm/2.5.
 
Long ago, my very first camera was a Pentax K1000.
After that, I moved to Nikon for a long time (FM, FE, FM2, F3)
I switched to Canon (10D, 30D) when I started doing digital stuff. And then sold that gear.
I recently ordered a Pentak K10D - mainly because of the apparent ease of using the older lenses.

So that means I started with a pentax and now return to a pentax.
 
I'm a Nikonian and I look down upon those with a Canon camera.

I'm proud and dismissive of Canon cameras in that discreet and sophisticated Nikon way. 🙂
 
Sold two Nikkormats with assorted lenses one of my bigger mistakes and bought a Panasonic Lumix Digital after a few months withdrawal set in and I started buying back another Nikon and assorted lenses on Ebay been lucky so far.To me film is way more fun. There is something about Nikon cameras and lenses that just feels right

I have too many cameras. There, having got that out of the way, here is the heavily biased rundown:
F2A, F3HP, FM, FM2n, N2000 (wife's, but she doesn't use it), D200
Konica TC that I inherited
The F3HP is on ebay now, to be followed by the FM.
I do own a Canonet G3 17QL - the only Canon, and I like it.
 
SLR-wise, started out with a Nikon F2 when Star Wars was the number one movie. More recently Nikon D100, D200, Canon 5D. Currently Olympus E-3.
 
Canon AE-1P main SLR (with FD 24mm f2.8), along with an Olympus OM1 (first MD version, with 50mm f1.8 Zuiko), accompanying my RFs (Olympus 35SP and Auto Eye, Canonet QL17 GIII and 28), and VFs (Olympus Trip 35 and XA2). I also have a Zenit 12XP (with Helios 58mm f2) for nostalgia purposes - a real tank, and delightful to own!
Borrowed a Nikon F3 HP once - GREAT finder! 😉 Sadly cannot afford one of my own right now.

I posted a topic in the RF general discussion a couple days ago about my experiences and feelings with viewfinders, but nobody seems to be interested in commenting further, sadly 🙁. I use the OM1 and AE-1P for their great finders for SLR cameras, without which a camera ceases to be a camera for me, as that's the one thing on any camera that connects me properly with the world I'm photographing, and allows me to photograph the way I need to. The name on the camera and the optics on the front of it are always secondary.
 
Neither. No Nikon, no Canon here. Just Pentax (Spottie + LX) and Olympus OM (OM-1 + 2SP).

But my bestest, most favorite lens is a Tamron, and it works on everything. Go figure.
 
Both. I have a 5D and a D3. Also my father's old F3, when it comes to that.
I started with Nikon, then switched to Canon when the D30 came out, and back with the D3.

Which Tamron is that? I have a number of Adaptall-2's, the ones I use most are the SP 60-300 and the 28/2.5.

As per SLR shooting I have a Pentax K10D, two Spotmatics, a Yashica TL- X, Minolta XG-1, a Canon A-1, and a Zenit-C that I just couldn't pass up.
 
My first camera was a Fiesta Brownie, then I jumped to a Contax II, with a 50mm f2 Sonnar and 21mm Biogon. My first SRL was a Canon AT1, then a Nikon F3, with a 20mm Nikkor, then an F4, and F5. My first digital was a Nikon D100. Sometimes I use a Lumix too. My second rangefinder was a Kiev II, then a Contax IIa, and Contax IIIa with 21mm Biogon. Finnally a Voightlander 3M with a 12 mm heliar.

I have a Nikon D2x.

I started with a Canon F1, sold it for a Canon Elan 7 for college. Then purchased a 20D. I ended up selling my 20D to help buy the M8 3 years ago. I started working at this magazine and scanning film was getting too time consuming. I'd always end up using the M7 instead of the 20D anyway. Even though one was film and the other digital I'd always opt for the M7 simply because I worked better with a rangefinder. So I ditched the 20D and all my Canon lenses and got the M8.

These days I keep an SLR around for the rare times I need one. Product shots and sports. I went with Nikon just to try something different and discovered I actually prefer it to Canon. And I've tried everything. I bought a Pentax K10D and used it awhile until it was stolen from my car. Then I went with Olympus until I got fed up with the limitations of 4/3rds.

I use the M8 (now M9) for 90% of my work. The Nikon only leaves the house when I'm lazy or the subject is going to be closer than 3 feet or further than 50.
 
Started out with Konicas; an Autoreflex A, followed by a T3 and T4; then I got a Nikon F3 that I shot with for around twenty years. Now I shoot with an M8.

Oh, and at the paper I used to work for, I used an OM-2.
 
I currently use Nikon SLRs, but used Canon previously. I started out with Canon, but never felt comfortable with the control layout after trying a few different bodies, so I made the switch and couldn't be happier. Nikon just seems to make more sense to me for some reason.
 
Leica R to match the M. Then digital came and I bought into Nikon. I will probably never buy Leica again.

The M9 is way high priced even if I don`t have to buy a single lens.

Digital R does not exist. DMR is already obsolete as no sensors are available, no batteries are available. This will undoubtedly be how all the digi Leicas will go. No parts after a few years. Nikon will be the same, but at least i won`t have my retirement fund sunk in it. My M3 from 1954 can still be fixed!
