When I first started rangefinderforum years ago it was because of my passion for rangefinder cameras and photography. Thanks to Stephen Gandy, this site has grown beyond my expectations to be the one and only place for the rangefinder photographers. All the other sites just don't cut it.
Having said that, I have found a new passion which I am slowly but surely learning about. Astrophotography is my next thing and I have created a site just for the astrophotographer. Just like RFF in the beginning, there is very little content on there now. But I hope that over time it will become the go to site for the astro photographer. It is created on an updated version of the gallery software here and has some pretty nifty features.
I invite you to visit www.Astrophotography.photos and become a member if you are into astronomy.
Thanks!
JT

Interesting, thanks for the link!
Astrophotography is what really got me into photography again after a long hiatus. I was out till 4am last night actually shooting, or trying to shoot - the meteor shower was a bust here sadly.

I'm on my way to pickup an astro imaging cc camera now. Hope to eventually have some do images posted.

Used to be interested in astrophotography and made photos, back in the 1960's, from telescopes I made.
Now, with the internet, much more can be viewed. Check out:

or:

Many more sites to cruise!
Take astronomy to the next level!

That's true Bill, there are some fantastic pictures (and descriptions as well) on those NASA sites. I love Hubble pictures. But the idea of doing astrophotography is to MAKE pictures, not just look at them. It's like saying "Instead of shooting your rangefinder cameras, just go look at Ralph Gibson's and Elliot Erwitt's websites."
Chris. saw your PM and responded.
Looking forward to your work!
