Seems to be more convenient for RF to be right eye dominant? So...What are you?

For those who can't tell: rip a whole the size of coin in a sheet of paper. Hold the paper at arms length and look at an object in the distance through the hole. Now move the paper back towards your face while looking at the object. You will automatically move the paper towards your dominate eye.
Most people will automatically use their dominate eye looking into an eyepiece of a monocular telescope or microscope, and I believe most people automatically photograph with their dominant eye.

I'm left eye dominant but trying to train myself to use the other eye more.
It's not only a problem with rangefinders; I'm constatly poking myself in the forehead when advancing film.

"Approximately two thirds of the population is right-eye dominant and one third left-eye dominant"----This from wikipedia, "eye dominance".
Considering the poll results I'm wondering if left eye people are more likely to vote in polls.

I can use both eyes equally good, and I end up using the right more for obvious reasons.

Left eye for me and I've always use the left eye to photograph...it was just more natural for me...
Now that I'm getting older and wearing glasses..it turns out that my left eye needs more correction than the right...I'm guessing I wore it out...I would have thought it would be stronger from exercising it more...

Left eye here. Always used motor drives on SLR's to solve that poke myself in the right eye with the advance lever problem!

I am in the process of switching.
I am right eye dominant but have recently found out that my left eye is a lot stronger. Time to change.

I was right eye dominant. Used it for scopes, peep sights, photography...
atleast until I started noticing double images and discovered I have a strong astigmatism in my right eye, and my left eye requires no correction. Now I use my left..

Sort of depends on how you define dominant. If this was a shooting forum (gun or archery) I'd be considered left I dominant. Closing the right eye, my sight window is not shifted as much as closing the left eye.
However, my vision is better in my right eye and I'm right handed, so I shoot with the right eye and use rifles and bows for righties. That makes it convenient for RF cameras.

We've had a couple of polls on this already, but it seems to be one of the questions that people keep asking again and again:

Right eye, but I use my left eye for photography, my right eye doesn't focus to infinity
. Gotta get contacts soon, I feel more comfortable using the right eye, especially with my M4.
