I am definitely a left hander. However, since young was forced to write the right hander way. Eat the right hander way somehow. Photography using camera the right hander way. But my master eye is the left eye.
I did a bit of googling and it tells me that the average number of lefty's is around 13% but it can be as high as 30% in some groups. Looks like RFF is one of those groups.
OMG this is a poll that actually verified something 😱
Left-handed (except hockey and eating...) I am also an ENTP according to Meyers-Briggs. I'm also a Taurus. There you have it. Left-handed, ENTP, Taurus = photographer (obvs...)
Strange. Write left handed, camera left eye. Pick up a saw with left hand, use a hammer with right. Rifle against left shoulder for left eye, right handed shot with hand gun. Is this ambidextrous? Creative photography not apparent, despite also being a Piscean, which should count.
I think it's funny how all the lefties and the ambidextrous have a story behind how they became such, while the righties just say, "I'm right handed. Period." (I'm a lefty without a story...)
Left-handed except when I swing a 2-handed stick - baseball bat, golf club, hockey stick - which I do best right-handed. Never understood that.
My brother writes on paper with his right hand, but on a black/white board with his left.
Though I grew up in the 1950's, the schools were finally tolerant of left-handedness and left me alone - fortunately.
No apparent effect on artistry - I'm overly analytical with zero artistic ability. Frustrates me to no end.
Ambidextrous, "left-eyed" (for photography), write with either hand (although it's more practical with the right), the computer mouse (or touchpad) with the left.
I can even read mirror-image text. Maybe all of you are on the wrong side of the looking-glass? 😱
Left-handed with a touch of ambidexterity. Either eye is fine: I started with left, but switched to right, easily, after buying an M8. Now I always shoot right, no matter what camera.
right handed, right eyed; throw right handed, but, swing baseball bat left; ax, left; sledge hammer etc. left. But anything worth looking at, it's with both eyes.
And my left eye is much more dominant than my right hand. I mean I positively cannot photograph with my right eye, but I can catch balls or whatever with my left hand. Probably some neurologist knows what that means. If it means anything.
Likewise: I can fence ambidextrously with all three academic weapons, but epée is my favourite. The great thing about an Italian grip on foil is that it is reversible. Otherwise I'm quite strongly right handed/right eyed.
