Are you shooting positives?

Examples of 160C I have shots. Color is much more muted. But, texture seems much more enhanced than slide. The added exposure latitude is a huge bonus. I feel positives have their own purpose. But, I probably prefer slide films for now.

After about 25,000 transparencies they kind of went extinct . . . Slides are too unavailable and too expensive for me. Now, it's negative film. My positive film is actualy digital.

When I shoot colour I use slide film 95% of the time. I love to load them up in my Kodak projector and look at them real big on my wall. The colours are so bright and beautiful. I've never had any issues scanning and printing slides from film like Fuji Provia or Kodak E100.
Almost all the colour shots in my gallery are from slides.

I shoot slides in my SLR's. I have used colour negative film in my M3 and Contax IIIa on a regular basis, I have not yet tried Slide film yet.

I love positive (slide) film. Nothing like a 70+inch photo on the screen from a good projector. Although digitals are getting better, I have never seen a digital projected image to match even a 35mm slide. Super slides and 2 1/4 are even better. Just IMHO 😎

In addition to what I perceive to be better color, I like slides because they seem to scan better. It's easier to balance color and you have a reference for your color.

slides scan better, but being a poor uni student, this luxury is not afforded at all times..
