Recently I tried out an Argus C44 camera. I used Ilford C-41 film, and I had my daughter as my "model", as I walked around parts of the historical district in Pensacola (Florida). The sun was harsh, so high contrast was expected. I am not an expert with scanning, and I did what I could do to make the scanned photos look OK. Here is a link:

I am quite impressed by the lens on the Argus camera, and I will use this camera more often in the future.

Nice pictures. Is it me, or is everyone always surprised by how nice these old Argus lenses turn out to be 😀

Nothing better to test lens sharpness than a Curly-Haired Daughter.

Also enviuos of you being downtown Pensacola. Beautiful city.

Thanks, Brian. I love living in Pensacola even though hurricanes seem to like visiting us too. I agree with you that having a little daughter as a model is useful 🙂
