I've just ordered a batch of this film and have noticed, after shooting two rolls, that the sticky paper that holds the roll together after exposure has failed on both rolls. They were being held in my fridge and I noticed today that they've become unraveled.

Is this a known problem with Arista Edu Ultra 400? Or is this lack of paper stickiness also attributed to the Fomapan 400 film as well?

I haven't used that, although I want to try it soon. I've mostly been shooting Shanghai GP3 since I got my MF cameras and it's hopeless in that respect! Sometimes the little bit of paper doesn't even have any adhesive at all, there's no point in licking it. I was pre-warned about this before I bought the first brick, so I carry a couple of rubber bands to wrap around when finished.

Well, I just noticed yesterday, that the reason the tape was not holding when I licked it on my Arista.EDU Ultra was because it is not that kind of tape. They have gone modern, it is peel and stick tape. Only took 4 rolls for me to notice that, I had been carrying rubber bands to keep it from unrolling.
