I have been shooting Neopan & HP5+. Just souped a roll of Arista Edu Ultra 400 120 film. I have used HC-110 with very good results. Does anyone else use this film in 120 & is it also blue? Just worried it will not scan well. The shots look great, but they are all blue. Thanks in advance.

The film base is blue, and is normal. Set your scanner to scan in monochrome (Black & White Negative) and you won't get blue photos.

Arista EDU Ultra 400 scans perfectly fine in my experience.

It is something, isn't it? Green, purple, inky black. Can be quite interesting when you use a new film/ developer combination. My first reaction is usually "Sh*t!" for some reason- but when there is no colour (I forget which combo that was) you really sweat!

I use the EDU Ultra 100 and have been lately giving it a 2 minute pre-soak. My negatives come out pretty flat. Now, the Efke film curls for me something fierce.

the 120 Foma/Arista edu ultra films are on a blue polyester base and it wont wash out. The anti-halation dyes can be pretty intense too. Nothing to worry about.
