Nice work. I haven't shot enough Plus-X to say this looks the same, as many have suggested, but these certainly look good. And you did an excellent job with your exposures and development in that harsh light.

Paul

Thanks Paul - It certainly behaves an awful lot like Plus-X, especially in Microdol (which is the only developer I've ever used with Plus-X). Even if it's not Plus-X, I think for my purpose it's close enough to justify additional orders from freestyle.

Nice shot ... and that does have a Plus-X look to it to me. I've shot a bit of it from some out dated stock I bought a while ago and think it's a really nice film.

Hey, Keith, Microdol-X is my favorite developer for b&w film! Pursuant to a professional photographer's advice, I process Delta 100, Acros 100, Tri-X 400, and other films up to 400 speed in it diluted 1+3 at 75 degrees for 18 minutes and I consistently get full highlight and shadow details which standard developers like D-76 and ID-11 do not provide. I love it!

I agree it looks very much like PlusX. I can never get the look I want with PlusX, so thanks for posting this. Here is one of my recent attempts that was 'worked' over to get closer to my ideal, and one that is almost a copy of yours. But as everyone says 'to each his own.'
