I keep reading the claims that this film is Tri-X. So, as a Tri-X junkie I want to find out considering its price.

The problem is that I don't know of any place which sells this film in Canada. So if you know of a seller in canada let me know otherwise if other RFF members in Toronto are interested we could do a bulk purchase and split the shipping cost.

Freestyle is your only source, as pesphoto suggests. I've done quite a few orders across the border to Vancouver though. Shipping is initially expensive ($25-30), but as you add on stuff, the cost doesn't rise too much, even if it's liquid chemistry or bulky items. One thing that I did note is that it can be expensive to order lots of rolls of film (maybe a per-item charge?). Recently several of us put together an order for 1900' of the premium, plus some developer, a print washer and a few other things, and the shipping cost was around $60. I added 150 or so rolls of film, though, and the shipping price jumped to over $300. So we just got the bulk stuff.

Their shipping and handling is fast and efficient. Freestyle offers great service.

I actually bought Arista II from a local camera store - Aden's camera for $2 a roll (24 exp). They did not have the premium version but I'll check with them today as well.

I think the shipping increases with rolls because the size of the parcel which contains all those rolls and the weight.

I need at least 50 rolls of tri-x for this winter and if I get lucky with Arista premium i'll be saving quite a bit.
