Arista Rapid E6 Slide Developing kit

I have experience with the Tetenal 1L and 5L only. The 1L works great. The 5L is a much better value but requires partial mixing of 1L at a time.

You like Tetenal? Do you hand process or do you use a Jobo? So with the Tetenal 5L kit, I just mix it 1L at a time? It doesn't have to be all at once? That would be a huge plus for me.

The 5L is a MUCH better value at freestyle. It is like $70 for 1L vs $100 for 5L. I have never done E6 and so I don't want to start with something costly.

If you have never done E6, start with the 1L kit. If you like your results (which I predict you very much will), and can produce reasonable volume, then get a 5L. With the 5L, you decant 1L final equivalent mixes at a time (e.g. may be 700ml of A, 200ml of B, 100ml of C, etc.). Best storage for the concentrates is in containers without air (accordion ones work well) but the concentrated solutions should last up to a year. Just batch up 10-16 rolls, mix up 1L of FD, CD, BX, and do them all in one shot.

I do hand processing only with stainless tanks, reels, and an aquarium+coleman cooler setup for heat control.
