Art Shay has passed

Art Shay was an amazing Chicago-area photographer and author that enjoyed a long, fruitful career. He was a contributor to Life, Time, SI and many others, and collaborated with Nelson Algren for years. Art was a gracious man, and always had time to discuss photography with like minded people. He will be missed.

Rest in peace, Art.
