Darkroom printing lives
I'm a film shooter and I happen to think that *some* of my photos from a digital camera is far better than my film shots.
And vice versa.
Enjoy both, it's silly to limit yourself to only one medium.

Edge if I still had a darkroom i would still be shooting film in some capacity but a kinda forced downsizing and clients have pushed me to digital. No regrets and i don't want my digital files to look like film. If I wanted a film look I would shoot film. My MM files look like med format files only I have more control than I ever had with film and I'm an old zone system guy. The M-E is a wonderful camera. I am probably going to switch to all Leica M in the next few years and I might pick up an M-E for backup.
That's a bummer. Conversely my clients are loving my use of film and practically do my self promotion for me because of it. I have a heck of a good digital system ( not Leica ) but relish the days I don't have to use it. As far as the darkroom, I have a top notch setup that produces up to 20x24 from 4x5 practically in a closet in our 880 sq. foot apartment. Priorities I guess...
