I have a problem with assembling a shutter on my Zorki-S. It is the same shutter as is on a Zorki-1 camera. Could somebody tell me (or show me some picture) how to assemble that shutter properly. In fact, it is working properly, but I can’t lock it down when I try to rewind my film. Thank you. :bang:

Have you tried this page?

Look on the "Camera Disassembly for Shutter Adjustment" link. Re-assembly is also covered toward the end.

Jay's site covers it well -- that's where I learned. There isn't much (or any fudge factor. You have to have the big drim in exactly the right position and it has to hit exactly the right gear tooth. The first time I did it I must have inserted the curtain assembly 50 times before I got it right. It was complicated by the fact that the original curtain had detached and I didn't know where to attach it. Jim Blazik has come up with a diagram the shows exactly where the curtain and ribbons attach to the drum. I have a copy at home somewhere.
