i just loaded up 10 rolls of delta 100 film onto 10 reels in 2 tanks.

tomorrow i will add some chemicals and make negs!

and eventually i will start scanning some of these negs.

i think i have about 10 rolls of film left to process after this, some of that apx400 i bought.

i have yet to use the mekko 100 yet.

i am waiting on a small light table and hoping that will make choosing negs to scan a bit easier than holding a negative file page up to a light and looking through my big loupe.

i just scanned a few negatives for the first time ever. coolscan arrived today...gonna take me some time to accomodate to the quirky user interface🙄

after every extended procession session i swear this is what i will do but i never follow through.
if i were rich or famous i'd have an assistant🙂

this year my goal is to never have more than 3 rolls on the go that need processing.

I have a sizable backlog of film to soup, a small handful of C41 to hand off to at local lab (that happens today), and I still have my portfolio work to put a rush on.

That's photography for you...never a dull moment for stuff to do.

You beat me to that one, Ira. This is what I almost always do; the wonderful thing is that, if you have an A3-capable printer or larger, you can create enlarged contact sheets which can be evaluated sans loupe, like a lot of pros did back in the day (although, back then, one needed access to an 8 x 10 enlarger for the task – I worked for a few labs that did). A few clients who insisted on seeing an entire "take", warts n' all, have been impressed when I would bring in a stack of 13 x 19" contact sheets instaed of 8 x 10s.

first off, i don't have a photo printer and it seems a bit much to get one for the small amount of printing i do..
and to be honest the stamp sized pics on a contact sheet are near useless to me. better than a straight neg with a loupe but not by much.
and my flatbed scanner is an antique.
