This has been a labor of love, but I believe that the end result has made it worth every second. I just got back home with the first roll through my Konica Auto S2, and I really couldn't be happier right now. What a joy it is to shoot with.
Actually, several "firsts" for me in this set; first time using the KAS2, first time using a hand-held meter, and first time shooting in the fog, so I was triply curious and apprehensive about the results. But I think that I went 3-for-3 this at bat.

I missed the focus on the spiderweb above, but I like the shot anyway.

Hmmmm. Close inspection show that the image is off-center on the negative, and running into the rebate on the bottom of the film (top of the photo).

Those shots are just gorgeous. Good work. What film did you use?
I recently bought my first Konica Auto S2 and was blown away by the camera. Incredible lens, auto and manual operation, AE lock. Wow, what an advanced camera for it's time. The lens images very similar to a Leica Summicron, except it may be sharper. The bokeh probably isn't as good (what is?), but for 50 bucks.....

Thanks, Steve. I used Fujifilm Quality II 100 ASA on those.

Is there really AE lock? I haven't used mine in A mode more than one time, so memory banks are empty in this regard.

Congratulations on a successful resurrection of your KAS2.
Great results too!
Used mine a couple of weeks ago with Ilford XP2, but the original battery is finally starting to go so exposures were slightly off.
