Atomal from Wehner ATM-W

A new developer:
The new ATM-W Atomal nach Wehner film developer instructions. The HEAP is replaced by a new synthetic made activator instead of the N-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-o-aminophenol sulfate which was used in the Agfa Gevaert Atomal ( and in May & Baker Promicrol ).

Interesting. I wonder though whay the instructions call for a 2 min wash after development?

In what way does ATM-W differ from ATM-49 in practice?

You mean A-49 (Calbe/Adox)? In this receipt they are using para- Phenylene Diamine or at least a CD component. This ATM-W should give similar results like Agfa Atomal or May & Baker Promicrol.
