Reciprocity Failure
Yes indeed, I can certainly try to venture out of the city for once.
I'm less hopeful about some of my shots, but I had a good time taking them.
Thanks for the minox tank too Jeremy - I'm going to sacrifice a roll to see if I can figure out how to make my fingers roll film that tiny tonight.
Cheers Gents.

I think the main trick will be getting it clipped on the center. Once you get that, you're in God's pocket.
Also, it seems there's not slot in the bottom part of the reel, so maybe it will be easier because of that. We will see... and the next time a thread comes up asking: "What is the best pocket rangefinder" you will chime in with "MINOX!", I bet, hehehe.

Oh! Another idea for a future gathering: University of Chicago campus. Awesome architecture. I'd probably have to take an SLR, since I don't have a wide angle. 28mm or less is almost a necessity...

Here are a few pix that Kate took yesterday, with our Canon Elph SD600.
A crop, but she did have enough resolution for it to be useful.
This guy was going to town on a candy wrapper:

Guess whose table this is? (before lunch & beer)
Two Canonet GIIIs and a Canon P
If either of you guys wants a bigger version of any of these, drop me a PM and I'll email it to you.

Just now saw that you posted this - thanks Jeremy. Wonderful pics from Kate. Am I really that tall? yeesh.
Ok - so.
How do people feel about trying to do something in the second weekend of June, the 9th and 10th?
You all know my preference for the city. But, I'm willing to stretch my legs (so to speak) if another good idea comes along. Not big on the woods during brood XIII cicada season tho. So - I'm going to out and out nix arboretums and forest preserves until July.

Hey, me, too, Jeremy. I didn't even see you had posted back on this thread.
The shots I took that day are in my Flickr link below.

I have to be out of town between the 7th and the 14th, so that weekend is out for me... More than happy to consider the weekend before or after.
Cheers,
